SVARC Monday Night Net Script

Introduction: (sections in Italics are instructions, you speak the parts that aren’t in Italics) 

Good evening to all, and welcome to scanner listeners.

This is <your name, your callsign>, Net Control Station for the Seaway Valley Amateur Radio Club Net, an open net which meets at 1900 hours local time each Monday on 147.180 MHz VHF, with a CTCSS tone of 110.9 Hz. The Repeater, VE3SVC is located in Cornwall, Ontario. After the VHF portion of the net, we move to the VE3PGC repeater at 443.650 MHz UHF also with a tone of 110.9Hz and located near Bonville.

The Net Manager is Earnest, VA3EWV.  Anyone with enquires about the Seaway Valley Amateur Radio Club Inc and/or it’s activities can write to:

Is there anyone on EchoLink or Asterisk Allstar Net wishing to check in? (wait for their reply as there is a 2 to 4 second network delay)

Regular Checkins:

After the last check in, close the net when all callers have been processed.

We will now proceed to the UHF (or other) portion of the net on VE3PGC where I will be happy to accept your check in.  This is <your name, your callsign>, returning the repeater to normal operation.
